Personal data

What the form sends

When you send the form, it passes on your name, at least one contact you choose, and what you wrote: the card or place concerned, what should change, the page that shows it and your link to the place. The address and language of the page you sent it from travel with it. One field is hidden from people and only exists to catch automated spam.

How a message is used

Messages are stored by a form service and read together at the next revision of the directory. They are used to check and apply what you reported, and for nothing else. A reply is sent only if you ask for one. Names and contacts are never published, sold or passed to the academies, clubs or organisers concerned; a published correction describes the change, not who reported it.

Counting visits

Visits are counted by a small script served from this site’s own domain. It sets no cookie and does not follow anyone across other sites. For each page view it records the page, the referring page, and the browser, device type and country derived from the request; these are looked at only as totals.

No third-party code

No advertising, social-media or other outside tracking code runs here, and no external fonts, map tiles or images are loaded. A link to a source or a map takes you to another website with its own rules. The company that hosts these pages processes technical data, including IP addresses, as far as delivering the pages requires.

Deleting a message

To have an earlier message deleted, write again through the form with the same name and contact and say which message should go. It is removed from the form service when messages are next read. A confirmation is sent only if you ask for one and leave a contact.
